Let me just clarify one thing. I am not talking about Walmart workers getting low wages. I am saying wages in general are being impacted by the lobbyist who go to the city and town halls and ask for money to build a store. In Hamburg, PA, Cabela’s got $32 million 11 years of the town’s budget which is around $8000 per person. We don’t get any bang for our buck with handouts to a retail store. So while I support $15 per hour, we also need to be asking why hasn’t the market produced this for us? I think a big reason are things like this and other things David Cay Johnston says in Free Lunch.

There are a few key topics I want to touch on. One is the economy and another is Russia.

    1. Economy

I want to mention that the person to get more ideas from as far as economic policy is David Cay Johnston. Please watch this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJA7G6TRtoI David Cay Johnston points out that these big stores like Walmart and Cabela’s thrive heavily off of local tax payers in state and local governments. I believe by pushing Johnston’s message, you can get both the Berniecrats and some hard right wingers who are tired of corporate republicans. I see an opportunity to push for $15 per hour while at the same time sounding more like a free market capitalist. The book is called “Free Lunch” by David Cay Johnston. He won a Pulizter in 2001 on taxes.

    2. Also David Cay Johnston knows Trump very well. There are 2 reporters who were ahead of the game on Trump and Russia. It was David Cay Johnston who founded http://www.dcreport.org and John Sweeney from the BBC. Here is a playlist of John Sweeney, ABC News, Zembla, and lastly David Cay Johnston. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9N5Kun2sJPA&list=PLdnuLpMCJ8dBhkm9jRNsbriWejgfO7A9S&index=1
